{"id":60,"date":"2012-04-30T01:20:18","date_gmt":"2012-04-30T05:20:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/marketsquareohio.com\/?page_id=60"},"modified":"2012-05-24T00:43:56","modified_gmt":"2012-05-24T04:43:56","slug":"history-displays","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/marketsquareohio.com\/?page_id=60","title":{"rendered":"History Displays"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have the Kinsman Rexall Pharmacy 1957 soda fountain, which is still fully functional, the phone booth, which dates to when the store opened in the 1930&#8217;s, the Double Kay Nut machine.<\/p>\n<p>We have the popcorn machine from the Kinsman Theater, which dates back to the &#8217;30s. \u00a0When the theater closed Virgil bought it and used it at his auction barn. \u00a0I need to put it back together, so we can use it. \u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 24px;\">There is the adding machine from the hardware store in this building. \u00a0I think it dates back to the 20&#8217;s<\/span><\/p>\n<p>There are poster size pictures of Kinsman Fairground racetrack and the natural amphitheater(a Kettle hole) where the Moody revival meetings were held in the 1890&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>On display are my grandpa Sutton&#8217;s potato bagger, scoop and apple stacker and picture of his store in Verona VA.. \u00a0Also, my grandpa Saltzmann&#8217;s corn planter, some of his butcher tools and a picture of his store in Newton Falls from 100 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>There are signs from old businesses from Kinsman; Alfonsi&#8217;s Furniture Store, Pryor&#8217;s TV, Kinsman Hardware with the Sherwin-Williams cover the earth logo, Polly&#8217;s Clothing, Dr. Chionchio, Shane Drive-In(it was in Andover), Kinsman Rexall, Brown&#8217;s Hardware, Stratton Hall, the &#8220;goat&#8221; milk fudge sign from Bob&#8217;s Market, Caricature of Cy Perkins of Turkey Heaven Restaurant, Kinsman Sparkle, Kinsman Antique Hall, Isaly&#8217;s sign, Stanwade tank measuring stick,<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have the Kinsman Rexall Pharmacy 1957 soda fountain, which is still fully functional, the phone booth, which dates to when the store opened in the 1930&#8217;s, the Double Kay Nut machine.
